Headquartered in Los Angeles, California, the Kabbalah Centre is a non-profit organization that provides teachings based on the principles of Kabbalah. Rav Yehuda Ashlag founded the Centre in 1922 and there are now centers in over 40 cities across the world. The teachings of the Kabbalah can be found online as well. The idea behind the Kabbalah is one of a universal wisdom and can be studied by a person of any faith.
The teachings at the Kabbalah.com include the beginning of creation, the spiritual and physical laws of the universe, human existence, and a deeper look into the human soul. The mission of the Centre is to help their students improve or enrich their lives. The teachers and guides at the Kabbalah Centre work with the students to provide tools directly from the principles of the Kabbalah that students will be able to utilize when making every day life decisions to help better themselves and the world around them. How the tools are applied can positively impact the student’s life, and the lives of those around them.
The teachings of the Kabbalah come from the 16th century writings of Rav Isaac Luria as well as “The Zohar”. Rav Yehuda Ashlag was the first to translate the script from Arabic into Hebrew and make it available to those who sought to learn it. After Rav Yehuda Ashlag died, his student Rav Brandwein continued on his legacy with his student Rav Berg. These teachings helped build what is now known as the Kabbalah Centre.
Wikipedia points out that many celebrities have been associated with the Kabbalah Centre over the years. Madonna is one of the most dedicated celebrities associated with Kabbalah. Other major celebrities such as Demi Moore, Lindsay Lohan, Ashton Kutcher, Nichole Richie, Ariana Grande, and more have been linked to the Kabbalah Centre as well.
